Dress for the Occasion - Choosing a Modern Wedding Dress Suggestions
Many brides and brides-to-be are dreaming of the most flamboyant wedding dress they can ever wear during their big day. Some even obsess about it right from their childhood. However, not all childhood fantasies come true. Not because one may not marry at all but because one's preferences may change over time.
To ensure that one wears the best wedding dress that will suit the current style, here are a few tips:
1. Pick a color and style that will make your personality stand out but will blend with the rest of the motif. If you are the meticulous type, pristine white will be cool. But a hint of lemon or gold will be cooler. If you are a fun-loving person and would like to not adhere with the basicity of a white wedding dress, by all means, experiment! Nobody should stop you from wearing a fuchsia pink or a flaming orange gown if that is what you want. Just let the entourage keep up with your flamboyance though.
2. If one opts for elegance, something funky may not be appropriate. Think twice before opting for those clown-ish themed weddings. A simple and yet noteworthy motif like gold or wine can be very easy to deal with when you are in the stage of looking for your wedding dress. Haute couture should tell you that you don't have to wear a mile-long train to be considered elegant. Oftentimes, it's the craftsmanship that has been employed onto the dress that defines what's trash from what's treasure.
3. Decide whether you would rather bare your shoulders or you want a skin no-show. Depending on what would make you feel more comfortable during "the day" you should make a choice if you can pull of an off-shouldered gown or opt for one with long sleeves. The trend may dictate a bare shoulder and this is especially appealing if the bride has good shoulders. But if the bride is not that confident with hers, by all means choose a gown with a tulle sleeves, semi-spaghetti straps, etc.
You don't really have to dread the future fashion and what will others say on your dress when they see your wedding pictures decades from now. What matters is that day becomes timeless because you chose what you want to wear and you chose it wisely. << Previous Article || Next Article >>
