How to Deal with a Wedding Party Crasher

Aside from the rain ruining a garden wedding, one of the topnotchers in the list of wedding boo-boos is the arrival of wedding crashers.

After getting into the bloodiest details of your wedding, i.e., catering service, reception, ceremonies, entourage's demands, wedding registry, etc., it won't hurt to take note of how to prepare when a wedding crasher pops up.

Here are a few helpful tricks to ward off or to lessen the severity of the damages that these party-poopers:

1. Make sure that you have reconciled with most of your enemies before you get married.

Of course, what can be the number 1 suggestion to decrease the chances of being pestered by these bad-wishers but to make sure that no one's with a grudge who's desperate enough to ruin your big day, right?

2. Hire security services.

You don't have to be a celebrity to be needing the help of security folks when it comes to the best day of your life. If one of the to-be-weds or both are threatened by someone that might cause harm or steal the scene, by all means, be ready and seek help from the bodyguard.

3. Let in only those invited.

No one wants any uninvited scene-stealers of the show, right? Double-check whether all the attendees have their invitations. You can also make them sign a guest book as they enter the party spot to ensure security.

4. Tone down on alcohol.

This might sound a bit kill-joy but if you want things to be smooth-sailing on "the day", heed this advice. Nothing can flame up one's mood and dangerous personality than alcohol.

5. Brief your party-coolers.

Your party coolers are not your drinks. They're your mood-setters, your entertainers. Whether you hired a 70's style band or a violinist trio, inform them to be ready when anything that flames up the mood happen ala Titanic.

6. Keep the numbers within your reach.

Also, the phone should always be ready when any emergency call must be done. It won't hurt either to prepare a list of numbers that you have to call whether anything unwanted comes up.

7. Keep your gifts safe.

Designate a secure place for the gifts. Lead all the well-wishers on that spot and keep it guarded by someone. You will never know when someone becomes just overly jealous of your husband or wife but because of all the gallant gifts you have received.

Those tips should keep you armed. Better be safe than sorry. Enjoy the wedding and don't let your visitors remember your big day as one of the most catastrophic ones this year
